KMSHA Re-Opens Mares Registration Books The Board of Directors of the KMSHA in a meeting held on April 8, 2008 have agreed to open the books for registration and certification of Mares who will meet the qualifications and standards of our breed. The Mare books will only be open for a temporary period of time.  After having many requests over the past several years for registration of mares and upgrade of Appendix mares already registered the association and directors have decided that it was time to reconsider the issue and re-open the books. This was also noted and acceptable by our genetic research associates.  All Examiners should note that strict compliance to the regulations for breed registration and certification apply. "Members only" may now register their gaited mountain mares with two Examiners signing off and a video sent to the KMSHA office. Newly registered mares will be $100.00, mares who are already registered Appendix can be fully registered for $50.00.
