Double J and Mountain
Moon Stables of Booneville, Kentucky are proud to introduce Al’s
Black Pride for the 2008 show season.
We would like to thank
Tom Prewitt and the Prewitt family for allowing us to purchase this
fine stallion. We are very excited about the opportunity to breed
and show Pride this year. We can’t wait until his offspring arrives
next season!
Ten years ago, Al’s
Black Pride was born on Al Prewitt’s farm. Pride is gray stallion
who is double registered with the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse
Association and the Rocky Mountain Horse Association. Pride was
sired by Tom’s Pride and his dam was Fancy’s Roan (a Sewell-bred
gray mare).
He
remained with the Prewitt family until this year, when he moved to
Booneville. Since arriving at our barn, Pride has created quite a
stir with his unique color, gentle disposition, fine conformation,
and his smooth, natural four-beat gait. Pride is trained and shown
by Jason Creech.
We now offer AI and
breeding by private treaty for our stallions. We also stand at stud:
Toby’s Mountain Man (Johnson’s Toby x Doc’s Candy) and Kilburn’s
Sundown J-Boy (Kilburn’s Chocolate Sundown x Nance II).
Show and trail horses
are available at all times! Contact us for more information:
