KMSHA Trail Rider's Club

Joining the trail rider's club is easy.  Then when you log the miles you ride your registered KMSHA/SMHA horse, we post your miles in the KMSH News and You win awards including hats, t-shirts, leather halters and more.

How to measure miles:  If you are traveling at an average riding speed, (not a walk or fast gait), you will average four miles per hour.  You can use this average if riding on unmarked trails.  If the trails are marked, use the mileage posted on the trails.  Do not include time spend taking breaks or otherwise stopping o the trail.

Be sure to check your membership dates and send in your trail riders renewal!  Please be sure to let KMSHA know of any upcoming trail rides so that may be posted in the KMSHA Calendar of Events and on the website. 

If you are a trail rider, start making those miles count.  Join the KMSHA Trail Rider's Club now!

 

 

 

How to Join

You must be a current KMSHA/SMHA member to join the club.  Below is a brief description of the rules and regulations of the KMSHA Trail Riders Club:

• There is a $35 first year fee and a $10 fee for renewal each additional year.

• There is no time limit to achieve any level

• You must ride registered horses only for those miles you log.

• You do not have to own the horse, but is must be KMSHA/SMHA registered.

• You must have the trail or group leader fill out the entire log sheet.  You can be your own group leader if you are riding alone.
