Ruth Ross Recuperating from
Surgery

Ruth Ross is recuperating from her surgery and is scheduled for
transfer to a physical rehabilitative facility on Monday.
She is doing well and will soon be able to receive calls.
As soon as the family has her location and contact information,
it will be posted on KMSHA's website.

Due to the surgery schedule at the
hospital, Ruth's surgery has been postponed and is now scheduled for
Friday, October 16. The family asks that you continue to
keep Ruth in your thoughts and prayers.
Ruth Ross to Undergo Surgery

KMSHA’s registrar and office manager, Ruth Ross,
suffered a seizure during setup on Wednesday evening prior to
KMSHA’s International Grand Championship. As a result, Ruth
will undergo shoulder surgery on Monday, October 12. The
family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all who have
offered prayers and are keeping them in their thoughts during
this difficult time. A special thanks to Judy Brummer, who’s
quick thinking and actions during the incident will no doubt
contribute to Ruth’s quick recovery.
Anyone who calls the KMSHA Office knows Ruth, or
“Miss Ruth”, as many of our callers address her. Ruth’s good
humor and desire to help everyone make her the “go to” person at
KMSHA. Her countless hours of dedication and work during the
International was tremendous to it’s success. As she puts it,
“the membership deserves the best we can give it.”
We know many of you will want to send cards and
flowers to Ruth, however, the family has asked that you address
all cards to the KMSHA office. The office staff will make sure
she receives them. For any flowers or other deliveries, please
hold off until we have an address for you to send those.
Understandably, with surgery and physical therapy to follow,
Ruth will not be able to accept phone calls for some time (and
it is probably a good thing that she can’t get near a computer
too!)
Ruth put together an awesome 2009 International,
and while she was not able to be there during the event, she was
there in soul. We wish to thank the Judges for their
knowledge, patience and understanding without which this show
could not have been a success. We want to thank all of the
sponsors, staff, volunteers and exhibitors for being at the
show. Updates will be posted on at

as they become
available. Thank you for being so understanding in regards to
the wishes of her family and we are well aware how much Ruth
will be missed during her recovery period.
