KMSHA International Grand Championship

MULTI “REGIONAL” GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

KMSHA’s 2010 International Grand Championship Show being held in the new indoor heated arena at the Kentucky Horse Park Oct. 27th to 30th, will offer special classes for horses that pre-qualify in each Region of the Country to compete against one another for Fame and Fortune!

Paybacks $500.* per class for 4 Regional Classes: Country Trail, Trail, Classic and Park

To qualify for these classes:

  • Horses must be registered and certified KMSHA or SMHA by the time of the event, be a member and maintain a 2010 Riders card.
     

  • Qualify by pre-season entry in Country Trail, Trail, Classic or Park Pleasure classes to be eligible in that division at the International Grand Championship.
     

    • Shows who offer qualifying classes do not have to be KMSHA or KMSHA/SMHA sanctioned classes (outside of KY) except they must offer all 4 of the following Regional classes by name to qualify; Country Trail, Trail, Classic and Park.  Divisions include all Open, Men’s, Ladies, Amateur, AOT and Novice classes
       

  • The horse qualifies not the rider, so more than one horse may qualify from a barn and riders may be changed.
     

  • Show in classes at qualifying shows in your region (Show managers call for additional details about adding these classes to your show)

    • Each region will have different shows .Call the KMSHA OFFICE 502-863-3545 to find out which shows in your area offered classes

      • Horses in the KY Region must show in 2 of the 4 AA shows to qualify.
         

      • If your horse is showing in another region you may qualify in that region if classes are being offered
         

      • If there are no qualifying shows in your region you may qualify in any region or contact your Show manager and ask to add this benefit to the show

      Sponsorships are currently being sold now for paybacks. $500.  guaranteed minimum per class,  the more Sponsorships, the more money that will be added per class.
